International Students

Sunrise RTC is approved by the US federal government to accept international students and our curriculum is designed to accommodate the academic and cultural needs of international students. We offer world-class academic and therapeutic schooling to girls, ages 13 – 17, who have struggled with emotional issues.

If you would like to discuss our program for international students, please call 1-888-317-3961 or fill out our convenient inquiry form online. Our staff is happy to discuss your specific situation and how our program might work with your daughter or client.

International Education: Transferring Credits
Sunrise’s academic program is US accredited through AdvancEd. Our academic team is experienced in working with the education systems of other countries to ensure that credits are transferable to our students’ home countries.

International Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP)
We are approved by the US federal government to accept international students through SEVP. Our admissions staff can help parents of international students ensure that they have the correct visa and have registered properly with SEVP through the SEVIS database. Once enrolled, we will help you maintain SEVP approved status throughout your child’s enrollment.

Canada-US Arrangements
Sunrise is set up to accommodate the requirements of all Canadian provincial school systems and is an approved service provider in Ontario. That means that funding opportunities are available to approved residents of Ontario.

Ontario Students: MOHLTC Approved
